By Airplane: The nearest airports are Catania, Palermo and Reggio Calabria. From Catania and Palermo you can order a transfer to/from the airport to the port of Milazzo. From Reggio Calabria you can take a direct hydrofoil Reggio-Vulcano.

By train: The nearest train- station is Milazzo. Direct connections from the major Italian cities. To reach Vulcano is recommend the embarking from the port of Milazzo (the nearest port from which ships and hydrofoils departs). The races of the hydrofoils are very frequent and regular. The crossing with hydrofoils takes about 45 minutes, while ship 1.45 hours.
